HENZEL STUDIO AT ROSSANA ORLANDI AND ALCOVA SASSETTI, MILAN

Milan design week marks the 20th anniversary of HENZEL STUDIO, and the company’s 10th exhibition in conjunction with Salone del Mobile. This year also marks the 5 year anniversary of HENZEL STUDIO COLLABORATIONS, a groundbreaking program of carpets designed in collaboration with some of the most prominent contemporary artists and artist foundations of our times. Following last year’s display of carpets by Calle Henzel at ROSSANA ORLANDI, this year will mark the launch of carpets by contemporary artists; Ashley Bickerton, Carsten Höller, Jwan Yosef and Tony Oursler, as part of the HENZEL STUDIO COLLABORATIONS program. In parallel with the display at ROSSANA ORLANDI, HENZEL STUDIO is included in an exhibition curated by ALCOVA, which will be on view in a former cashmere mill (Fabbrica Sassetti) in the Isola neighbourhood. HENZEL STUDIO is participating in this exhibition program by showcasing carpets by Olaf Breuning, Marilyn Minter, Helmut Lang and Calle Henzel.
